Books, knitting, pickleball are just some of the many passions you’ll find you can share with others at Cascades. Whether you are looking for a calmer hobby, an invigorating sport, or a mind-expanding pastime, you’re certain to find your joy here.

Hobbies
Though we are calling these hobbies for the purpose of this blog post, we don’t mean that term to belittle or diminish the skill these diversions require, nor their artistic merit. From the textile arts of our Knitting/Crocheting/Sewing/Quilting Club to the various disciplines our Cascades Arts & Crafts Club explores, your hands will be busy creating wonderful things. And all alongside your friends (i.e., neighbors) at Cascades. Just imagine the pride and joy you’ll feel when guests marvel at the colorful quilt deftly displayed on your couch or the festive decorations adorning your kitchen island and you can boast, “Oh, those? Yes, I made them!” And then get ready for all the praise and adoration you can handle!

Physical and Mental Fitness
The Cascades Pickleball Club really helps put the “active” into “active adult.” This popular activity is all the rage and a fun way to get in your exercise. Also, in the Cascades Clubhouse, you can find yoga and fitness areas where you can meet with neighbors and push yourselves to new levels of physical fitness. But that’s not all you can do there. With many intimate spaces both inside and out, the Clubhouse is the perfect spot to host book clubs, game nights, trivia challenges, and more activities that exercise your mind!

Cascades Morning Coffee
Every Friday morning, have a cup of java as you join friends at Cascades Morning Coffee. Start your day with the caffeine you crave and company you desire. It’s a wonderful way to prepare for the coming weekend and catch up on the latest news.

Cascades Social
Every other Saturday, Cascades sparkles even more than normal at the Cascades Social. Party with your neighbors, savor a festive drink, and enjoy an entertaining evening right in your own backyard. The Cascades Socials are events where laughter fills the air, heartwarming conversation sparkles at every turn, and bonding with your neighbors is purely delightful.

Special Events
Of course, Cascades is also home to special events that occur throughout the year. These are as varied and unique as our many wonderful homeowners. In the past, we’ve had a Friendsgiving, a Singles Mixer, a Holiday Party & Cookie Swap, and a New Year’s Eve Brunch.
