S.E.R.V.E. began the mission of helping Stafford County families in emergency need in 1979, This was when a devoted Social Worker and three local Pastors came together to form Stafford Emergency Relief through Volunteer Efforts affectionately known as S.E.R.V.E.
The Knight family cemetery is located on the farm formerly owned by the Knights and later, by Jackson Musselman, son-in-law to Lewis Knight. The cemetery contains several graves; however, only two are inscribed.

On Friday May 19th, the Goodrich family was presented the key to their new mortgage free home. "It's just beyond anything we ever could have imagined," said his wife Jacqueline Goodrich. "It's not just a home; it's peace of mind."
On February 13 U.S. Army Sgt Michael Goodrich and his family toured their future home. The Goodrich family was awarded this beautiful custom built home by the “Operation Finally Home” program. Sgt. Goodrich was injured in Afghanistan on his second deployment.

On Monday, November 14, 2016. The Goodrich family, Army Sgt. Timothy Goodrich, his wife Jacqueline, daughter Lucy, 8, son Tag, 4, and service dog Maci, were welcomed by a crowd of Embrey Mill residents, Stafford County officials, and representatives of both Newland Communities and all of the builders at Embrey Mill.
During the Washington Wizards game that took place on Veteran’s Day, retired U.S. Army Sgt. Timothy (Michael) Goodrich and his family got a huge surprise during halftime that they did not see coming.
